My wife and I are planning a family trip (us and our 4 kids!) in October. As a Veteran, I purchased the Salute tickets from my local ITT office. My parents would like to come along. Can my wife purchase an extra 2 tickets, after I have already purchased 6?

    Hi Michael!

Thanks for sending your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Walt Disney World Armed Forces Salute Ticket is a great offer! You should not have any problems purchasing the additional tickets. My family and I have visited a few times this year and my mother was able to purchase additional tickets with her military identification. Tickets can be purchased in person at either Shades of Green or any ticket window at the theme parks.

There is also an offer for discounted resort stays and these can be found be visiting this page: 2016 Military Discounts for Resorts. These offers are available to active or retired members of the U.S. Military or their spouses including the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard and will require presentation of military identification. I recommend that you contact Guest Services at 1-407-939-2273 if you have any additional questions relating to military discounts and the required identifications needed.

Did you know?: Located near Magic Kingdom park, there is a resort called Shades of Green, which is an Armed Forces Recreation Center. While this resort is not owned or operated by the Walt Disney Company, Guests can enjoy benefits such as the Extra Magic Hours. For more information, please visit this page: Shades of Green

If I can assist you with any other planning needs, please feel free to send me your questions!
