My wife and I are planning on coming to Disneyworld in October for our 15th wedding anniversary. Do you have any ideas of a great restaurant for our anniversary and how I can make sure special for her?

Hi there, David! Welcome to planDisney!

First, congratulations on such a momentous occasion! 15 years is truly something to celebrate, and there is no better place to celebrate any special occasion than at Walt Disney World Resort!

David, you have come to the right place. My husband and I are somewhat experts at romantic dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, the Magic Kingdom is where we got engaged, almost 10 years ago!

If you are looking to dine in the park, I would recommend Le Celler in EPCOT. Here you can step into a Canadian chateau and enjoy the signature “Le Cellier” filet mignon served with truffle butter.

If you are looking for a magical experience in the Magic Kingdom, my husband took me to Be Our Guest Restaurant for a fabulous dinner for my 30th birthday. I loved the ambiance and the pre-fixe meal and my kids loved being able to eat inside the castle and catching a glimpse of the Master of the Castle himself!

While we are talking about romantic dinner locations, I absolutely must mention California Grill. Located on the top floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, you can nosh on California-Asian fusion cuisine while enjoying some spectacular views.

While I love all of the restaurants mentioned above, if I were planning my own celebration, I would make a reservation for Topolino's Terrace at Disney's Riviera Resort. Here, you can enjoy a wonderful French-Italian cuisine before strolling along the waterfront promenade or hopping on the Disney Skyliner for a whimsical trip above Walt Disney World Resort.

David, another great idea to make your anniversary really special is to either order a Mickey Mouse dome cake to be delivered to your chosen restaurant or order a custom cake from Amorette’s Patisserie. While the custom cake will have to be picked up in Disney Springs, I can assure you that it will be worth the small inconvenience.

While I would normally recommend an order of fresh flowers and chocolates to be delivered to your hotel room from Disney Floral & Gifts, I am sorry to tell you that they are temporarily not accepting new orders. I would check in with them, or us, a little closer to your arrival date to see if that changes.

I hope that this helped, David. Please come back here to planDisney if we can help answer any other questions for your wonderfully romantic vacation.

Wishing you many more happy years!
