My wife and I are plainning a family vacation and have no idea where to start. We have two kids, age 1.5 and 3. I am looking for an inexpensive place with lots of attractions. My biggest concern is having time with kids and time without. Help, Thanks

Hi Mike!  I am unsure if you have decided on a vacation at Walt Disney World or still looking at your options.  Let me at least share a few facts about a vacation at this magical place in Florida.

There are many good deals being offered right now for a vacation to Disney.  An excellent one is the Buy 4 Get 3 Free and this can be explained on the Disney website, . Click here for this information.  There are several value resorts on property and all have many activities for families and children.  All have pools, arcades, food courts, and complementary transportation to all areas of the property and all four theme parks.  You can get more in  information by going to the website above.  By staying at a Disney resort you are also able to take advantage of the complementary transportation to and from the airport called Magical Express.

With young children the Magic Kingdom is the most popular theme park for families.  There are many rides and attractions geared to their age and interest including one whole part of the park just for them called Mickey's Toontown.  Again the rides are described in detail on the website.  The other three parks also have wonderful things for children to see and do and it is hard to have to only pick one or two to visit during your stay.

For a night out you can call on several child care services and the one that all Disney resorts recommends is Kids Nite Out.  You can call 1-800-696-8105 or 407-828-0920 for this information.  There are many nice restaurants to enjoy a quiet dinner through-out Disney and also a few wonderful clubs in the Boardwalk area.

As you plan I invite you to return to the mom's panel for more answers to your questions if Disney is indeed the place you choose to vacation.
