Hi, Thomas!
Thanks for coming back to planDisney with your follow-up question! I am happy to hear that you and your wife have
Annual Passes. You can certainly enjoy a lot of magic throughout the year with your passes! I love the Annual Passholder magnets that are distributed throughout the year. It is so fun adding to my collection!
If you plan to drive to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe, you will need to stop at the Security Booth where they will confirm your dining reservation and check your ID. Once cleared, they will direct you to the visitor parking lot. They will sometimes give you a Resort Dining Parking Pass to place on your dashboard which states the date and a 3-hour time limit. Parking is solely for the time of your dining reservation, then you will be required to move your vehicle. Head to the Magic Kingdom parking lot if you plan to spend some time over at the park. This is where one of your
Annual Passholder benefits is super handy since
parking at any of the theme parks is complimentary when presenting your Annual Pass.
It sounds like you have a fun day planned with breakfast and some magical shopping! Present your Annual Pass when making any purchases so you may receive your shopping discounts. Many restaurants also offer a discount, so always ask when dining if they have an Annual Pass discount.
I hope this clarifies the parking policy at the Disney Resort Hotels and the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. With monorails, boats, Disney Skyliner, and buses, they certainly have numerous options to get you where you need to go. Have a wonderful day with your wife, and of course with Mickey, Minnie, and the gang!
Cathy
