    Hello. My wife and I are part-time Florida residents. We own property here. What do we need to show to prove our residency? Do we need to bring that proof to the front gates when we enter?

    Hi Phil! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I’m so excited to hear that you will soon be visiting Walt Disney World as a Florida resident! Florida Resident passes are an amazing benefit that you can take advantage of. For each adult pass you wish to purchase, you’ll need to provide one of the following as proof of residence: Valid Florida driver’s license with a Florida address, Valid Florida state-issued ID card with a Florida address, or Valid Florida-based military ID. You need to show this when purchasing/activating your pass, but not each time you use your passes.

    Pro Tip: Florida residents with any of the above listed identification can now verify their residency online, which allows you to bypass Guest Relations and go straight to the Parks! Just fill out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form upon check-out when purchasing Park Tickets online or complete the “Customize Your Tickets” step if you purchase through the My Disney Experience app.

    If you do not have one of the IDs indicated above, then you can instead show one piece of mail or bill from the past 2 months that shows your Florida address, as well as one additional form of photo ID.  Please reference this Ticket FAQ page for further details.
