Hey Howdy Hey William and welcome back to planDisney!
I love your decision to go with MagicBands on your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort. They are just so convenient to have, being connected to your My Disney Experience account with a quick tap of the wrist to get into the parks, make purchases and even open up your resort door! Thank you for your question on the specifics of connecting them to your My Disney Experience account. Let's go through to make sure they have connected appropriately.
If your wife already added them to your
My Disney Experience account, you should be all set but let's make sure they are linked. The first thing to do is go to your My Disney Experience account and look under the heading "My MagicBands and Cards". Scroll to the bottom and you should see your profile image and anyone else's profile you manage. Next to your image, you should also see a smaller one that has the MagicBand that you linked to your account there. You can also click on the little arrow pointing to your picture on the left which will bring a drop-down menu of all the MagicBands and cards linked to your account. As long as you see your new band in one of these areas, you should be all set!
I am sure that you already have many of your plans in place for a Magical vacation, I just wanted to pass along some tips and recommendations if you plan on visiting EPCOT. This park is going through some major changes but so much has recently opened up this past summer to make this a must-do destination.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the newest attraction that opened this summer and is so much fun, you are going to want to check it out. You can secure your place in line for this attraction by either
virtual queue or purchase of
Individual Lightning Lane or both because it is so much fun!
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is a new attraction as well that is so much fun to experience.
Also during your trip to EPCOT, you will be visiting one of the more popular festivals for
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. This celebration of the season with all things food and drink call for a casual stroll around the parks to try and experience it all. Check out the
Foodie Guide at
Disney Parks Blog to narrow down the top recommendations from the experts!
Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip in a few short weeks. Please feel free to stop back and let us know if you have any further questions, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
