We (me, a wife and one child) will be traveling in April for a 3-day vacation at WDW. As a first-timer, I am completely overwhelmed in figuring out how to plan things out. I don't even know where to stay.

Planning a first trip to Walt Disney World can certainly be overwhelming, but no worries! The WDW Moms Panel is here to help!

First peruse your resort choices at Accommodations. To get the most bang for your buck consider Disney's Art of Animation. This shiny new hotel is bold, colorful, excellently themed, and features perhaps the best food court on Disney property as well as the amazing Big Blue Pool. If you are going deluxe, try one of the top tier resorts located in the monorail line for their excellent service, dining options, pools with awesome water slides. stunning architecture and grounds, and location close to the Magic Kingdom. Disney's Polynesian Resort is a fabulous choice for a family oriented monorail resort. A good middle ground choice would be Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter. I love the quaint, cozy atmosphere and the turquoise blue sea serpent water slide here.

Next check out your ticket options. A base ticket allows you to visit one park per day. Since your family is staying for three days you might want a Park Hopper that allows you to visit multiple theme parks in one day. With a Park Hopper you will be able to visit all four parks in only three days.

Combining tickets and accommodations into a package will be your best deal. Look at some of the choices on line at Magic Your Way Vacation Packages or call an agent 407.939.7675.

Your next step will be to decide if you want a dining plan, to book your restaurant reservations- a must for table service meals-, and plan an itinerary. I would love to help you with these steps too. Just contact me again and you can create a fabulous vacation one step at a time.
