My wife and I , no children, will be visiting Disney for the first time in May. We are interested in a newer moderate resort, good access to transportation and dining, and relaxing a couple of days at the resort. What do you recommend? Thanks!

    Hi, Jason!

For a romantic, intimate getaway, there's no better Moderate Resort than Port Orleans French Quarter.

With newly remodeled rooms, this small Resort offers all of the convenience and theming of its larger brothers and sister, but with a really quiet, romantic atmosphere. There's everything you'd expect: pool with poolside bar, food court, complimentary transportation, on-site shop - only you're sharing it with the fewest number of people on Disney property.

Its immediate neighbor, Port Orleans Riverside, is going through major renovations; most of the rooms have been completed, but some still are in process. This is the home of the much-anticipated Royal Guest Rooms, where Disney Guests are made to feel like they're part of their very own Disney royal fantasy.

You can book your reservations online, of course, but you might want to consider calling the Walt Disney Travel Company directly at (407) W-DISNEY. Often, the Cast members have access to unpublished rates and discounts, if any are available at the time of your stay.

    Have a wonderful time!

    'See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
