My wife need to come in and out of Epcot next Tuesday in order to handle business requirements. What is the process?

Hiya Gordon - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question about my favorite Theme Park - EPCOT!

Exiting and re-entering a Theme Park is allowed at Walt Disney World Resort, and there are just a couple of things you should keep in mind.

I see that you're visiting the week of Thanksgiving, which can be a busier time in the Theme Parks. I don't anticipate that you'll run into any capacity issues, but I always make it a point to chat with a Cast Member at the park exit before I leave if I know I want to re-enter. Especially if I notice that it's a busy day, I'll simply ask if they think there is any reason to be concerned about re-entry. At EPCOT, on a Tuesday, even during Thanksgiving week, you shouldn't have any issues. If we were talking about Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Day, that would be a different story!

Also, at EPCOT there are two entrances - one at the front of the park and another at the International Gateway, located between the France and United Kingdom Pavilions in World Showcase. If she simply needs somewhere quiet to take a call or meeting, using the International Gateway entrance would allow her to walk over to Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, or Disney's BoardWalk. All have plenty of space and I've never had trouble finding somewhere semi-private to get work done. I've also been known to pop earbuds in and take meetings while walking around the parks, but that's me!

To enter EPCOT, she will tap her admission media which will either be a Key to the World Card, Annual Pass, MagicBand, or a MagicMobile pass on a compatible smartphone. At that time, her fingerprint will be scanned and linked to that admission. If she needs to re-enter the park, she will simply use the same process! Do keep in mind that in addition to valid admission media, Guests must also have a valid Park Pass Reservation to enter a Theme Park. If you don't already have those, hop to it - there is still great availability for next week, but that can always change!

Gordon, I hope this information is helpful - please let us know if you have any additional questions!
