Hi my wife, myself and 9 yr old daughter are planning a week long trip to Disney World and are thinking of using the dining plan. Can I purchase it later if we have already paid for the disney resort?

    Hi Ronald!

The Dining Plan option can almost always be added to a Walt Disney World Resort package (a reservation that includes your hotel and park tickets) at a later date. However, it must be done at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.

Room-only reservations are not eligible for the dining plan. However, you may be able to convert your Room-only reservation to a package - you'll want to give Disney a call and discuss the specifics of your reservation to find out if this is an option for you.

One great site to check out regarding the Dining Plan and Disney dining in general is the Disney Food Blog. This site has a great Dining Plan FAQ that lists different terms and conditions. It also has reviews of Disney restaurants and it might give you some ideas for meals!

Hope you have fun planning your trip! Be sure to let us know if the Moms Panel can help with any more details!
