Hello! My wife and I are moving to CA May 25th and celebrating our anniversary May 31st with a Disneyland trip planned and reserved to celebrate. I’m not sure if we’ll have time to get our CA ID’s by then, will a bank statement with our new address work?

Hi there Garrett, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, and I'd be happy to assist you. We appreciate your patience as we help all Mouseketeers who are anxious to return to a land of magic!

Congratulations on your happily ever after AND on becoming one of Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors. What a wonderful way to kick off your first summer in the Golden State! Be sure to connect with us on social media and follow the Disney Parks Blog to keep up with all of the excitement happening in the Disneyland Resort

During the current phase of reopening, all those who reside in  California are welcome to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks. To access the theme park reservation system, you'll first need to update the address in your Disneyland account to reflect your new location. After selecting the date you would like to visit, you will be asked to confirm that all members of your party are currently California residents, and you'll be on your way!

Upon arrival at the theme parks, all Guests may be asked to provide additional proof of residency, so any documents you have will be helpful. Just to be on the safe side, I'd recommend bringing a piece of mail received at your California address to affirm your new status; something like a bank statement or credit card bill would be fine.

Best wishes for your new adventures, Garrett, and if there is anything else we can do to help make future visits even more magical, come back anytime. Thanks again for sending your question our way, and we'll see ya real soon!
