Hi Steve! Welcome to planDisney.
Wow! You are officially the most generous and magical grandfather. Wanting to share the magic with your grand Mouseketeers is an amazing way to create cherished family memories during
The World's Most Magical Celebration. You guys can have a family scavenger hunt looking for the golden
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues.
Being a new
Florida Resident and a fan of Disney, I would definitely consider purchasing the
Disney Pixie Dust Pass. Currently, this is the only available new Annual Pass offered for purchase. Fun fact, if Walt Disney World Resort announces the return of other passes, you can always "upgrade" your Annual Pass if that is of interest to you. Also note, that at the time of purchase, you can complete your
Florida Resident verification online. Here is a
list of acceptable forms of proof of residency.
Florida Resident Theme Park Tickets are not intended for out-of-state family and friends. With that said, if you as a verified Florida Resident have a child under the age of 18 physically with you at the time of Theme Park Ticket purchase, you will not have to verify that child's address. However, please keep in mind, that currently, anyone over the age of three must have both a valid Theme Park Ticket and
Disney Park Pass Reservation in order to visit the parks. With your intended arrival date, I highly recommend you secure both of these to avoid disappointment. Here is the
availability calendar in order to verify your desired dates are open. Yet another caveat is that many Florida Resident Theme Park Tickets, including the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, are subject to blackout dates. Please research your ticket purchase thoroughly before committing. As far as pricing, it can vary depending on which type of ticket you decide to purchase and on which day of the week. You can do a "mock" purchase on this
page by logging in and selecting your ticket type, number of days, and dates.
Whew, Steve! I sympathize this can be a lot of information to digest. I hope, I assisted you in breaking down the options available to you. If you would like to talk to a Cast Member for assistance, please call the
New Tickets Help Center or visit the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
