Hi Kevin,
We just ate at Coral Reef a week ago, so it is fresh in my mind! We all enjoyed it so much watching the many fish through the whole meal, and we thought the dinner was wonderfully yummy, too. It is a unique place to dine that we don't have an opportunity to enjoy outside of WDW. The one drawback to the Coral Reef is its location if you don't have much time between dinner and the show. They are quite a distance apart.
For this reason, I'm partial to Tutto Italia which is in close proximity to the Candlelight Processional. In fact during our training in December, we all ate there before the show. The meal was also delicious, and I always think pasta is a safe choice for kids. We enjoyed ourselves so much we actually began to run late, so we had to rush to the theatre. With their being close-by, it wasn't a problem.
I hate to "snub' the other restaurants which are also worth visiting, but I think Coral Reef and Tutto Italia are what I would choose from for the reasons I described..
