My wife will be 7 months pregnant on our trip to WDW in 12 days. Should she reserve a scooter or will there be areas for her to rest frequently?

    Hi William!

So exciting that you will be at Walt Disney World in just 12 days and you have a little bundle of joy coming not long after that. Congratulations!

You won't have any problem at all finding places for your wife to rest while you are in the Parks at Walt Disney World. There are a lot of spots where she can take a break, sit on a bench and catch her breath. She can definitely go at her own pace. I have 8 children and, thinking back to when I was 7 months pregnant, I would love to have had an electric wheelchair or scooter to get around. It is also a great option if she wants to keep pace with the rest of your group and not have to stop. If your wife thinks that sounds like a good idea, take a look HERE at the options for renting wheelchairs. Disney recommends a few private companies, as well, who will deliver it directly to your Disney Resort and pick it back up again. We have done this before for our special needs son and it works slick as a whistle!

Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help your upcoming trip. Have a wonderful day and a magical time at Walt Disney World!
