Milosz from East Sussex Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My wife managed to add our reservation to her Disney Experience account but I can not link it on my own account, nor can my wife invite me as a guest. What should we do?

Hello Milosz and welcome to planDisney.

I must say that it's always a real pleasure for me as the current UK Panelist here at planDisney to welcome a fellow Guest who also spends their holidays with Mickey Mouse at the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World Resort!

It sure sounds as if you and your dEAR wife have been busy planning towards your upcoming January 2022 holiday to Walt Disney World Resort.  I'm happy to hEAR that you've both created your own My Disney Experience accounts too!

You'll no doubt discover that you'll truly have a friend in the My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded on your smart device when you're actually at Walt Disney World Resort.  This extra magical planning gizmo is practically perfect in every way for organising your Disney day, traversing Disney property, and so much more besides.

By your description, I believe your wife has already sent you an email invite to connect on My Disney Experience via Family and Friends.  Of course, it is rather tricky for me to understand exactly why you've not been able to connect in this way, or even add your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation to your own My Disney Experience account.

However, I'm going to try my best to offer you some assistance, Milosz!

     - Firstly, I'd like you to log in to your own My Disney Experience account on a desktop computer
     - Then using the drop-down menu, head to My Plans
     - Hover over Resort Hotel and select, Link a Reservation
     - This opens a new page where you can add a Confirmation Number and Last Name on the Reservation - continue to follow the on-screen prompts to add your reservation details and confirm

     - Secondly, again using a desktop computer, log in to your My Disney Experience account
     - Hover over Family & Friends and select Add a Guest
     - Select - I'll enter their name and age and then complete with your wife's personal details
     - When the prompt appears - select Invite this Guest to connect and enter your wife's email address which is currently associated with her My Disney Experience account
     - This action should generate an email to your wife's email account.  After she's accepted your invitation to connect, you should finally be able to plan together!

Hopefully, with just a little faith, trust, and pixie dust you've perhaps now been able to fully connect via My Disney Experience all your carefully made plans for your January 2022 holiday to Walt Disney World Resort!

However, if you should be still experiencing any difficulties at all, then I would suggest speaking in person with a knowledgeable Cast Member who will be able to assist you better than I!  Cast Members in Technical & Website Support can be reached by dialling the UK freephone number contained within this handy Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.

Milosz, I truly hope that I've been able to offer you a little magical insight today.  If you should have any further questions at all, then please do return to planDisney where I'll always be happy to help!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
