Hiya Stephen!
Welcome to planDisney! I read your question and I felt like it was meant for me. My husband and I have our own My Disney Experience Accounts and have our kids and various family members sharing plans with us. It's so much fun visiting Walt Disney World with all my favorite people but managing all the plans can be intense.
Let's try to fix this pickle you are in. Here are some of my ideas for you to try:
- Visit your
Family & Friends page and make sure that the people you want to be connected to you are under the heading of "People I Have Plans With." If you don't see your children or that other adult, scroll to the bottom and click "+ Add a Guest." There is a chance that while you shared your plans your wife was not connected or linked to the other people in the plan.
- If that doesn't work I would look at your plans and make sure that everyone you want is in your plan! You may see the plan with your and your wife's names but some blank spaces that need to be "assigned." Remember that if your two
children are under the age of 13, an account cannot be made but you can make one behalf of them by just entering their name and age. I also did this for my mother-in-law as she did not have a smartphone or know how to make any plans and trusted us to do it for her.
- In your Family & Friends List I would also make sure that under your account you click "Update" on each person you have plans with. Look for the "Guests Who Can Manage *Your family member's name* Plans and Photos. I have it set it up so that my husband and I manage "All Plans" for my kids. Make sure to click "save!"
-If you continue to have issues then reaching out to the Disney Experts at
"Technical Support" will be your best bet.
I hope this helps! If you have any questions please free to
let me know!
Happy Planning!
