My wife and I are making our 5th trip to Disney World; however this will be our first trip during the holiday season (Nov 29 - Dec 2). What are some of the don't miss attractions during this time of year? Is MVMCP worth the price for 2, 40+ aged kids?

    Hi Dez!

The Christmas Holiday Season is my favorite time to be in Walt Disney World!  All of Walt Disney World is transformed and decorated for the Holidays.  I remember my first visit to Walt Disney World during December and it was like I was experiencing it for the first time again!  If you have never been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, it is definitely worth it to buy tickets to experience this amazing special event.  I have been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party three times in the last two years and I still want to go again.  Here are some things not to miss during the Christmas Holiday Season in Walt Disney World (in no particular order):

    1. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom
    2. The Dream Cinderella Castle Lights and the Castle lighting ceremony at dusk everyday in the Magic Kingdom
    3.  Osbourne Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios
    4. Holidays around the World in Epcot's World Showcase-make sure you see the holiday storytellers in the Pavilions around World Showcase
    5. The Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theater in the American Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase
    6. Illuminations Reflections of Earth with the special Christmas Tag (lengthened ending) at Epcot
    7. Mickey's Jingle Jungle Jamming Parade with special holiday songs and theme in the Animal Kingdom
    8. The Christmas decorations in all the Walt Disney World Resorts (I go to the Resorts to view the decorations and take pictures of them)

These are just some of the wonderful things that are unique to the Christmas Season in Walt Disney World.

I hope that you have an amazing Holiday time on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
