My wife has 2 magic bands, one for being an AP and one from a stay at a resort. Rather than buy a new band for my daughter is it possible to transfer one of my wife's to her. My daughter has her own ticket, just want to try to recycle the band.

    Hi Ralph,

I think you are smart to try to recycle your wife's extra MagicBand but unfortunately, at this time MagicBands are not transferable. The MyMagic+ system is new and still evolving so everything is subject to change, but currently you cannot give your wife's MagicBand to your daughter.

There are several options for purchasing MagicBands either online from the DisneyStore.com or once you arrive at the parks.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let me know if I can help you with any other questions!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
