My wife and I were looking into running in the half marathon or marathon races. The thing is we have a 1 year old. Is there a day care for the little ones? Or should we bring a family member alone for the trip.

    Hi Bryant!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My husband and I also love to run the races together!  It's a great activity for us to share.

You do have an option that I have used in the past (when my boys were little), called Kids Nite Out.  They are an independent company that contracts with Disney and their Guests.  They can come right to your room. I have been very pleased with their services and many other Moms Panelists have said the same. Our sitters from Kids Nite Out have been very nice, and my boys always enjoyed their time with them.

Of course, bringing Grandma or Grandpa would work, too...but you do have other options!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
