The wife and I want to take our LO to WDW aug/sept 2012. We are on a weekly schedule and want advice on how to book a trip making payments and saving spending money along the way. Thanks!

    Hi Luis!

The budgeting can be the most difficult part sometimes!  I'd suggest taking a look at the resorts and seeing which ones most fit in your budget, and then get a quote for a trip of x days.  You can use that number to figure out about how much your vacation will cost you.

For my example, I am going to use the vacation budget of $2000.  You'll need to put down $200 for your deposit, so if you save $50 a week from now until June 2012, you'll have $2000.  You'll have the $200 for your vacation deposit in 2 months, so if you start saving now, you'll be able to book in October.  Your vacation will need to be paid in full 45 days from your arrival date, so that would be sometime in July/August of next year.

You are able to make payments on your vacation on line at www.disneyworld.com  under 'My Disney Vacation.'

    Have a magical vacation!
