I’m so glad to hear you are preparing for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! While it may be too soon to start packing, it’s never too early to make sure your theme park tickets and
theme park reservations are in order.
If you and your wife are linked in your
Family & Friends List, you can easily reassign your theme park ticket to your name. Since the tickets are currently on your wife’s My Disney Experience account, she can go into her My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the ≡ in the bottom right of the screen, and select the tile labeled “Tickets and Passes.” This will show a list of the tickets linked to her account, and she can scroll to the ticket she’d like to reassign to you and click “Reassign Ticket” then select your name.
For your Disney bands, it sounds like those were linked to only your account. Once a Disney band has been linked to an account,
it cannot be transferred to another person. If your wife’s Disney band was linked to your account for your previous visit because you managed her account at the time, you may be able to transfer the Disney band to her individual account by reaching out to the Cast Members at the number listed under “
Technical and Website Support.”
If this Disney band solution doesn’t work for you, I recommend waiting until you arrive to Walt Disney World Resort to view the selection of Disney bands available to purchase. You can link it to your account and begin using it immediately after purchase. There are always new styles being released and you may even find some seasonal designs, for example a Halloween Disney band for your October visit.
