My wife and I last visited WDW in 1998. We are now bringing the kids with us this year. We recall that we were able to purchase refillable mugs, can you please tell me if this is the case, if it is open to anyone and how much does it cost.

Hi Ian, Glad to hear you're going back again to WDW (13 years seems to be way to long to go without a WDW vacation in my opinion!). They do offer refillable mugs for purchase at the WDW Resorts and anyone can go into their food courts and purchase one, but they can only be used in the resort they were purchased at for the duration of that stay. I don't think it's typical for guests to visit a resort and purchase a refillable mug if they are staying off-site (it's really not worth it budget wise), but there's no rules stating that you can't do this if you like. The last time I checked they cost $13.99 plus applicable taxes, but please note that prices are subject to change. If you are staying onsite, I would definitely recommend buying one for the duration of your stay, they really are a good value whether you use them for just a few days or even more if you are there for a few weeks. I hope you have a fantastic trip! Best wishes, Brigitta
