Hi Biagio,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question.
Wild Africa Trek is one of my Walt Disney World bucket list items, and I’m so excited that you’re working out logistics so you can participate in this incredible VIP experience!
As of right now, I recommend looking into Kid’s Nite Out, an independent childcare provider that works with Disney to provide
childcare services from children aged 6 months through 12 years. They offer in-room childcare services, or you can hire a sitter who can take your kids into a theme park. Please note that if you choose to have a sitter accompany your children to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for some adventures while you are on the Wild Africa Trek, you will need to pay admission for the sitter. Please call them at (407) 828-0920 to get more information on how it all works. I’ve heard really great things about their sitters!
Biagio, because your vacation is still a while away, please be aware that things could change and more options might become available. Please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about new childcare offerings. Also, I would inquire about childcare at the time you reserve your Wild Africa Trek, and maybe even call Guest Services at (407) 939-2273 when you’re getting closer to your vacation to see if any more options are available.
Enjoy every incredible minute of Wild Africa Trek, and please come see us if you have any more questions as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
