Hi there, Michael!
I’m sorry to hear about your injuries. Hopefully, a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth will help take your mind off the pain and put smiles on your faces.
I’m glad you are considering this question before your visit. The
Disneyland Resort rules prohibit weapons of any kind. That includes objects that may
appear to be weapons. While it is up to the discretion of the Security Cast Members inspecting items carried into the parks, there is a good chance the shape of your preferred device might be of concern and cause you to be turned away. To be safe, I would recommend finding a device with a different form factor that would be less likely to cause Security or other Guests any alarm.
Tony’s Tip: A visit to the Disneyland Resort is always fun for me. But it can be tiring. That might be more so when dealing with a mobility-related injury. Guests may rent
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) or wheelchairs at the rental facility just outside of the main entrance to Disneyland Park.
I hope you get well soon and that you and your wife have a
Fantasmic! time at the Disneyland Resort, Michael!
