Hi. My wife and I are heading to WDW for Food and Wine Sept 13-Sep15. While we go each year with our kids, this is the first time without them and we know very little about F&W. Are there packages you recommend, or just show up and enjoy? Thanks!

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I think you and your wife will really enjoy exploring the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival together. Yes, a Walt Disney World vacation as a family with little Mouseketeers is magical, and it's all just as magical for adults without kids. Your idea for just showing up and letting yourselves be guided by the sights, sounds, and sensational aromas always makes for a solid plan. Picking up a Festival Passport is the best way to get a quick overview of all the marketplaces, events, and culinary experiences. The Disney Parks Blog is a great go-to resource to get in-the-know about what's planned for Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The Festival will showcase a Sunday Brunch with the Chef series featuring celebrity chefs and guests such as Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto of Morimoto Asia and Chef Art Smith of Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. You can also check out the Food & Beverage Pairings at Festival Welcome Center. Personally, I think the Cheese Seminars and Beverage Seminars look amazingly enticing. Also, be sure you and your wife take time to savor the sounds at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
