My wife is graduating from nursing school this month and we will be there early January. Is it possible to set up a photo session to celebrate her?

    Hello Dustin!

As a registered nurse myself, I just love this question. A huge congratulations to your wife on this major accomplishment. Nursing school is not for the faint of heart and I hope to never have to write out a personalized care plan again!

I love the idea of getting some photos to celebrate her special accomplishment. At this time, however, private photo sessions are not being offered at the Disneyland Resort. But not to worry, Dustin, I have some great ideas for you!

Have you considered adding Genie+ to your theme park tickets? With Genie+ not only will you be able to select entry to the lighting lane for some of her favorite attractions, but you’ll also get unlimited downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos from that day! Then, be sure to check out the Disneyland Mobile App to get an idea of where the PhotoPass locations are in the park. You could bring something fun to celebrate her like her graduation cap, or her nursing pin. You may even want to get a complimentary “I’m Celebrating” button from Guest Relations on arrival. Then head to the various locations around the park and collect lots of fun photos. Be sure to mention your special celebration and ask if the photographer has any “Magic Shots” available at that location!

While this isn’t a private photo session, you’re bound to still have fun and capture plenty of magical photos to celebrate your wife. Perhaps consider buying a photo frame as a souvenir so you’ll have the perfect place for your favorite photo once you get home.

Wishing you and your wife a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort!
