Wife and I are doing 10th trip together and 26th Wedding Anniversary. Missed last year as kids moved away. Need something outside box to impress. 8 days so we decided to stay at Pop. Ideas for my Disney Princess?

    Hiya, Daniel!

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney to discuss your Happily Ever After! My husband and I have celebrated numerous anniversaries at The Most Magical Place on Earth, so I'm delighted to help you add a bit of pixie dust to your celebration!

For us, the first step in any milestone vacation is always to grab a celebration button from the front desk of our Disney Resort hotel. When you arrive at Pop Century be sure to tell a friendly Cast Member at reception that it is your anniversary, and they will happily personalize it with a 26!

Now, if you're looking to make the celebration extra special, I'm happy to make a few recommendations from the Enchanting Extras Collection for you. Please keep in mind that these incur an additional cost and should be booked in advance. You'll want to check each individual webpage (linked below) for specific information regarding that particular experience.
    • I recently attended Sangria University at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and cannot recommend this unique, educational, and tasty experience enough. You'll not only learn a brief history of sangria, but you'll get to sample Three Bridges Bar and Grill's exclusive offerings and make your own as well. Although the guacamole appetizer was intended to be a footnote, it was so delicious that it became one of the highlights of the experience for me. I graduated from Sangria University (which is only offered on weekends) during a girls' trip, but the incredible water views would be perfect for your romantic celebration.
    • If you're looking to pamper your princess, The Grand Floridian Spa offers a variety of treatments including massages, body treatments, nail services, and facials. The luxurious robes and cozy relaxation room might have your bride reluctant to leave the tranquility behind, so I suggest enticing her with a meal, drinks, or appetizer at one of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa's restaurants following her service. The ambiance of Enchanted Rose truly feels as if you've stepped into a fairy tale, while the theme park views of Narcoossee's are just as uniquely magical.
    • If your wife loves the magic of Walt Disney World Resort's nighttime spectaculars, then I suggest looking into either a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party where she'll be treated to a prime viewing spot for Happily Ever After and some delicious desserts to cap off the evening or a specialty cruise along the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon or Crescent Lake for one-of-a-kind views of the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT fireworks displays.
    • As a final unique option, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park allows Guests to Savor the Savanna as they enjoy an exclusive safari and refreshments while learning the details unique to the wildlife of Harambe Wildlife Reserve. Although I've yet to enjoy this experience myself, as an animal lover, it's at the top of my magical must-do list.
I hope this was helpful, Daniel, as you prepare to celebrate your very own fairytale. If you have questions or are in need of additional suggestions, feel free to stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
