My wife and I are doing B2B cruises on the Dream in September. Our first leg is the British Isles and the second leg is the WBTA. Are the itineraries available yet for these cruises? We are trying to find out which nights are pirate nights.

    Ahoy there, Alan!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Twenty nights on the Disney Dream is the kind of adventure that would make even Captain Jack pause mid-strut. Pairing the British Isles with a westbound Transatlantic is an incredible way to experience the ship, and sailing back-to-back makes it even better since you really get to settle into ship life.

Right now, both of your itineraries are still being finalized. The tentative schedule will typically be available around 130 days prior to embarkation. Once onboard the ship, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will have everything you need, including the confirmed theme nights for both of your sailings.

I know you’re hoping to plan ahead for packing, Palo reservations, and more, so let’s talk through what has been typical on similar itineraries in the past, keeping in mind these are predictions and not guarantees.

For your 7-night British Isles sailing, here’s what I would reasonably expect based on previous sailings:
    • Day 2 (at sea) – Formal Night. Disney often schedules this on the first sea day on longer sailings and pairs it with the Welcome Reception in the Atrium.
    • Day 3 (Liverpool) – Pirate Night is a possibility here. This can be a tricky one to predict, but once your booking window opens, you can often spot Pirate Night early by looking for the Pirate-Themed Makeover option in the Navigator app.
    • Day 5 (at sea) – Semi-Formal Night. This is usually scheduled on the final sea day or the final night of the sailing, though it can shift depending on the itinerary flow.

For your 13-night westbound Transatlantic, I would expect something along these lines:
    • Day 2 (at sea) – Formal Night
    • Day 4 (Lisbon) – Pirate Night
    • Day 10 (at sea) – Semi-Formal Night

If offered, you’ll also want to keep an eye out in the Navigator app for Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party, which usually pops up one evening (often around 7:30 PM) and is a great way to relive some favorite Disney movie moments between dinners and shows.

I hope this helps as you plan ahead for two unforgettable sailings and start deciding when to break out the pirate gear and when to book Palo. Even though the schedules aren’t final yet, you’re already on the right heading for a truly legendary Disney cruise adventure.

Sea ya real soon as the adventure continues into a bright new year,
    Dustin
