    Hi, Ron! Welcome to planDisney.

I'm thrilled you and your family will visit the Disneyland Resort soon. I understand you have purchased the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service for your trip. Wonderful! This will help you maximize your time at the Theme Parks.

To make Lightning Lane selections for your daughter, who will join you and your wife later in the day, you must have your daughter's ticket linked to your (or whoever will be in charge of making Lightning Lane selections for your family) MyDisney account online or via the Disneyland App. If you do not already have her ticket linked, you can do that in two easy ways: 1) by scanning her ticket's barcode or 2) by entering her ticket's ID Number in the 'My Tickets & Passes' section of the Disneyland App. I also recommend linking your wife's ticket to your app, and vice versa.

Next, when you are being scanned into the park on the day of your visit, you will ask the Cast Member to scan her ticket--even though she is not present with you. This will allow you to make Lightning Lane selections on her behalf. After you enter the park, simply go to the 'Tip Board' on the Disneyland App to make your first Lightning Lane selection, and you should see your daughter's ticket when you are confirming your selection.

However, please note that the above plan will only work if your daughter has been scanned into the park previously. If this is the first day you will be using your tickets, this will not work because the Cast Member will take a picture of each person, and everyone will need to be present.

If this is the first day you plan to use your tickets, I suggest arriving early with your wife and taking advantage of the low wait times for attractions. I wouldn't recommend making Lightning Lane selections until your daughter has entered the park--unless there is an attraction you know your daughter wouldn't want to experience or wouldn't mind doing alone.

Lastly, take plenty of family photos! With the purchase of the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service, you get unlimited digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos.

Ron, I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to visit us again if you have any other questions. See you real soon!

    Your Pal,
