Hi Curtis:
Disney World is a wonderful honeymoon vacation spot. First, I would make a reservation at at least one of the many romantic restaurants at Walt Disney World. If I had to select only one, it would be California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort. California Grill features delicious California Fusion cooking and spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom and the Wishes fireworks show. If I could throw in two close runner-ups, I would also recommend Le Cellier, a tasty steakhouse at Epcot's Canada Pavilion and Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge, which serves dishes influenced by African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine.
I would also think about a balloon ride with
Characters in Flight, a very romantic experience with a breathtaking view of Disney World property and beyond. Consider a walking tour of the countries of World Showcase in Epcot and try your favorite adult drinks, or enjoy a stroll on the Boardwalk and stop by ESPN Club or Jellyrolls. Maybe enjoy the Cirque du Soleil show,
La Nouba.
Aside from touring the Parks and taking in all of the rides, try a round of golf, a game of tennis, or enjoy some watersports or boat rentals.
You also may consider contacting the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts at (407) WDW-GIFT or (407) 939-4438. They can help pick out the perfect honeymoon gift. Also pick up bride and groom ears. You can order them by calling 407-363-6200 or visiting disneystore.com.
Congratulations on your wedding. Remember to check in at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up a "just married" or other appropriate button. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to wish you well, greet you with a kind gesture to make the visit more memorable.
