Hello, My wife and I are going to disney Saturday, May 26 to Sunday, June 3. I know making dinner reservaions is a must, but what about breakfast and lunch? We will mainly be eating breakfast at our resort, port orleans riverside. But if we decide not to?

    Hi, Mark!

If you are planning mostly quick service meals for breakfast and lunch, then Hakuna Matata!  No Worries!  No advance dining reservations are needed for quick service locations.

However, if you are hoping to have breakfast at Chef Mickey's or lunch at Le Cellier in Epcot, then you will want to book those ahead of time online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.  You can always walk up to the podium for any openings last minute, but your chances of getting a table like that are not very good, so plan ahead when possible.

If you have a smart phone, you can always try to book some last minute reservations - with a little luck and pixie dust, you might just be OK!   Remember there are some great quick service locations to enjoy:  In Epcot, we really like La Cantina De San Angel.  In Downtown Disney, we LOVE Wolfgang Puck Express.  In Magic Kingdom, Columbia Harbor House is a Moms Panel favorite.   Lots of great choices, so you will find something any meal of the day.

Try to plan ahead where possible to minimize your waiting for tables.  Have a great June vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
