Greetings, George, and a warm welcome to
planDisney! We’re so glad you’re here!
Your Disneyland Resort vacation is going to be here before you know it, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! With
the official return of the Main Street Electrical Parade, World of Color, and Disneyland Forever fireworks, there’s so much to look forward to!
In an effort to make your visit as stress-free as possible, the Disneyland Resort offers
Disability Access Service (DAS), which is designed to accommodate Guests who aren’t able to wait in a conventional queue due to a disability. I’m happy to report that now, the Resort is making it easier for Guests
to register for DAS ahead of their visit with DAS Advance! This
new DAS system will allow you to pre-register online with a live video chat as early as 30 days in advance of your visit. So, you’re within your window to register for DAS Advance for your wife, George!
Here’s how it works… during your registration chat, you’ll have the chance to book up to 2 one-hour return windows
for select experiences, subject to availability. This is in addition to the regular DAS benefit of making return-time selections throughout your Disney day. If, however, you aren’t able to register for DAS before your visit, not to worry! You can also register at the Disneyland Resort upon arrival at City Hall (in Disneyland Park), Chamber of Commerce (in Disney California Adventure Park), or any
Guest Information location.
To help prepare for using DAS, you’ll want to make sure you have
a Disney account, and that you’ve downloaded the
Disneyland app. Then, check that all of your group’s theme park tickets are linked together on your app. This way, once you’re registered, you’ll be able to book DAS return times from the convenience of your mobile device using the app!
Also,
here's a helpful page offering plenty of resources and information to help you plan your visit, George! If you have any additional questions, you can also
call Disability Services, or send an email to disability.services@disneyland.com.
Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon,
Kristin
