My wife and I have a deluxe dining plan and want to make reservations at a Downtown Disney restaurant, but there aren't many choices. Wolfgang Puk or Ragland Road. Which would you prefer? We are going the 2nd week in Dec and hope it's holiday decorated. ty

    Hi Bill!

Personally, I prefer Wolfgang Puck's Asian fusion and has favorite.  It's not limited to that though.  The restaurant is classified as "Special & Unique Dining", and they aren't exaggerating.  You'll have a very nice choice of gourmet meals to choose from.

Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is very elaborate in it's themed decor, food and entertainment.  This restaurant is definitely a party atmosphere.  Really, it's your personal choice.  I would base it on your preference of food type.

Either one you choose is going to be great...I promise!  As for holiday decorations?  You're going to LOVE them!  If you get a chance, go resort hopping to see the amazing decor!  You have to get to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house.  All of the resorts are gorgeous.

Have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
