Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,
Bill! Good to see you again.
That was incredibly nice of your friend to reassign her
theme park admission ticket to you. Do you and your wife have one four-day ticket each or only one total? If there is only one four-day ticket, it can be assigned to either you or your wife. Once a multi-day theme park ticket is activated by a Guest, it can only be used by that Guest. In that case, two of the days would go unused on that ticket for an eight-day visit and a second two-day ticket would need to be purchased.
If you each have a four-day ticket assigned to you in your My Disney Experience account, then all you need to do is make sure your six-day ticket with the Park Hopper Option is prioritized in your My Disney Experience account. Assuming you'd like to have the ability to visit more than one park per day at the beginning of your trip, you'll want to activate that ticket first. Then the four-day Magic Your Way ticket will naturally be activated after you have used all six days of your ticket with the Park Hopper Option. If, however, you prefer to save your ability to hop between parks for the end of your visit, you could prioritize the four-day ticket first.
So, you may be wondering how to prioritize your tickets. Before you enter the first Disney theme park during your trip, ask to speak to one of the Cast Members carrying an iPad at the touch points where you enter. Do this before you scan your
MagicBand. Ask the Cast Member to verify that your preferred ticket has priority over the other ticket. If it does not, they can make the change right there. Then you should be set for the rest of your trip.
Have an amazing visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Bill!
Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
Jill
