Hiya Mark,
Welcome to planDisney! First, let me say, I’m wishing your daughter so many incredible wishes for this next chapter in her Happily Ever After story. I hope that you all enjoy the time together and that the entire day is magical.
Now let’s chat about Annual Passes. I completely get where you are coming from, Mark. When I sat down and broke down how many days I was planning to visit, the cost of theme park tickets, parking, and other expenses, the cost of an Annual Pass made a lot of sense for my family as well! Generally, multi-day tickets can be
upgraded to Annual Passes on or before the last day of use, provided they are not ineligible for an upgrade and the value of the theme park tickets is equal to or less than the Annual Pass. I’m not sure if your specific tickets are eligible (since there are exceptions), but if they are, you may be able to do so using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. To do this, open the app and navigate to the menu by clicking the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right corner. Next, click “My Tickets and Passes.” Select the ticket you would like to upgrade from the choices shown, then click “Change Ticket” under the ticket. If you don’t see an option to “Change Ticket,” it could be because your ticket isn’t eligible for upgrade to an Incredi-Pass, or it could be something more technical. I’ve always found that if you are unsure whether your tickets can be upgraded (or if you're having technical difficulties), the “next right thing” is to reach out to a Cast Member, either over the phone or in person at Guest Relations. They can help you determine whether your pass is eligible and make the upgrade for you, if applicable!
I hope this was helpful, Mark. Before I let you go, if you do plan to upgrade in person, I recommend doing so at Disney Springs. As someone who visits frequently and drives, one of my favorite
perks of having an Annual Pass is the included standard parking benefit. I like to make sure my pass is active before I head to the theme parks so I can start using the perk right away. Parking is free at Disney Springs, so I head there, upgrade to my Annual Pass, and then when I head to the theme parks, I’m all set to go! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
