Hi, my wife and I want to take our daughter, Emma, to Disney World for her 6th birthday, which is December 20th, but I am worried about the holiday crowds. Will the crowds be managable from the 14th -21s of 2011? Also will it be warm enough to swim then?

    Hi Scott,

What a fantastic way to celebrate your princesses birthday!!!!

Yes it is a busy time in December but I wouldn't worry about that or let that stop your plans.  There are so many fun things that happen during the Holiday season that your family will have a fantastic time.

A few things to make your trip extra special would be to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and I would bet that your little princess would love a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess makeover!

The weather in December is cooler, but the pools are heated so you can still swim-the water is warm but the air getting in and out of the pool might be chilly!!  I was there this past December and there was a cold snap in Florida but the pools were still very much being used!!!

Have a magical time on your vacation!!
