    My wife and I are currently signed up for our first Disney Marathon weekend. She is doing the Half and I am doing the full. We were curious if there will be Cast Members available to take our pictures with the different characters along the course. Thanks

    Hi Robert!  Congratulations to you both on signing up for the races!  I think you will love runDisney and will want to make it a regular race for your calendar.

    There are not cast members all along the course at each character stop.  There may be some here and there that could help you out, but it's not something to count on.

    However, I often run these by myself, and have never had an issue.  There are usually lines for the characters, and other runners are more than happy to snap your photo.  You will usually take the person's in front of you, and then the runner behind you will snap yours.  The runDisney family is a very supportive and jovial group!  You will have no trouble finding a photographer!

    As you both are running up Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom, just stop in front of the castle and have a spectator take your photo.  This is my favorite photo shot of the races, and the fans have always been happy to help!

    There will be professional photographers spaced along the course as well.  You will receive an email after the race with a link to view those photos and purchase if you desire.  Generally, they will get lots of action shots and your finish line shot.
