Hi there, Rich!
From one
Legacy Passholder to another, welcome to
planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with this great question about theme park tickets, and I’m happy to hear you want to plan another visit to the
Disneyland Resort. Are you and your wife as excited as I am that the theme parks are reopening soon? My family and I can’t wait to get back to the magic at our favorite place!
As you may already know, only current California residents can enter the theme parks for the time being due to guidelines from the state. As a resident with an in-state address, yes, you can purchase tickets and make
theme park reservations for both you and your wife. Valid tickets must be linked to the Disney account of the person making the reservation, and the system will not allow reservations to be made for visitors who reside outside of California. Be sure that all of your information, especially your home address, is up-to-date on your Disney account before entering the reservation system. You’ll need to confirm that everyone in your party lives in California and sign an online waiver before proceeding with a reservation.
I hope this answers your question, Rich, and that you both have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth really soon! Please say “hi” to Mickey Mouse for me!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
