    Between my wife and I we have 12 complimentary tickets to use. We are going to Disney World mid December. How do I add Genie + to Winter comp tickets? When I go on My Disney Experience I do not see a way to purchase Genie + for the comp tickets.

    Welcome to planDisney! I'm doing the happy dance with you because 12 complimentary tickets to The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds AMAZING! That's a whole lot of magic and fun to enjoy!

    While standard tickets may be upgraded to add Disney Genie+ ahead of time, complimentary tickets may not be upgraded. Hakuna Matata...no worries, though! You'll still be able to use Disney Genie+, you'll just need to add it one day at a time. It will be available to purchase within the My Disney Experience app any time after midnight, and you'll be able to make your first selection beginning at 7 AM each day. If you're also interested in purchasing any Individual Lightning Lane selections, they'll be available to all Disney Resort hotel Guests beginning at 7 AM and everyone else when the desired park opens for the day. Did you know that you don't need to purchase one to be able to take advantage of the other? Disney Genie, Disney Genie+, and Individual Lightning Lane selections are each independent services, and you can take advantage of all of them, none of them, or any combination you'd like!
