Hi there, Mike! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear you have a
Walt Disney World Resort trip booked for 2024! The
Disney Parks Blog recently announced some
updates that will be going into effect in early 2024, so your visit is sure to be even more magical. I'm pleased to help you prepare for your vacation by answering your ticketing question today.
The situation that you and your wife have with your
theme park tickets is one that my fellow planDisney panelists and I also often find ourselves in. We all visit Walt Disney World Resort frequently and sometimes end up with several different tickets linked to our
My Disney Experience accounts at the same time. If you have a date-based ticket in your account, the system will automatically use that ticket when you visit on those dates. However, in a case like yours where multiple tickets could be used during a given visit, you'll want to ensure that you are using the appropriate one.
In my experience, Cast Members have been able to "stack" theme park tickets to use in a certain order. You should be able to take care of this at the
front desk of your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel or at a ticketing window at any of the theme park entrances. Just let the Cast Member helping you know that you'd like to use your standard theme park tickets first and save the
Park Hopper ticket for the last day of your visit. They should be able to arrange the tickets in your account so that the appropriate one is used when you scan into the theme park.
Mike, if we can help you with anything else as you plan for your vacation, please don't hesitate to ask. My fellow panelists and I are all ears! See ya real soon!
Samantha
