My wife and I will be coming to WDW to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary November 16th(Actual Date) through the 22nd and staying at the Floridian Villas. Is there any way to call or email them to make sure it is even more special then when we go just

    Hi Kenneth,

What a wonderful way to celebrate your 40th wedding anniversary, with a trip to Walt Disney World!  The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be such a lovely place to celebrate this occasion.  The elegant Victorian theme is so romantic.

I suggest that you note your celebration when you make your reservation.  If you made the reservation through Disney Vacation Club, simply call Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 to have the celebration noted.  If you made your reservation another way, such as through Disney, you can contact them to have the celebration noted.  Then, about a week before you travel, you can call The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa directly at 407-824-3000 to be sure that the celebration is noted.  I also suggest that you note your celebration on any dining reservations that you make.  Although none of this guarantees special treatment, you never know when extra pixie dust might be sprinkled on your celebration.

Also, if you are so inclined, you can pick up celebration buttons free of charge at Guest Relations at any Disney theme park.  You can pick up the "Happy Anniversary" buttons and add that it is your 40th anniversary on them using permanent marker.  Again, although this does not guarantee special treatment, it is fun to hear guests and cast members alike acknowledging your celebration.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kenneth.  Have a wonderful time planning your celebration, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
