Hiya, Matthew! It's great to see you back at planDisney--thanks for choosing to be our guest once again. I'm happy to help with your vacation planning question and add a little extra pixie dust (and a lot of seafood) to your fall getaway.
Aren't you so glad that
dining plans have returned to
Walt Disney World Resort? We really missed the convenience and flexibility that the dining plans offer and were so happy to add one to our most recent trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Our family generally chooses the
Disney Dining Plan so we can enjoy a Table-Service Meal each day--it's a good opportunity for a break during a long day in the theme parks!
Matthew, it sounds like you too are a Disney Dining Plan aficionado--I love that journey for you!
Cape May Cafe is a favorite of ours, as well. My husband always enjoys a buffet, and the East Coast seashore vibes and casual decor make this a great spot for a hearty meal. We like arriving early for our reservation and relaxing in the lobby at
Disney's Beach Club Resort. I am a little obsessed with the lobby scent--so much so that I even have a supply of candles at home to remind me of it!
I checked with some helpful Cast Members at Cape May Cafe to confirm that this meal will require 1 Table-Service credit, plus the additional per-pound cost for Snow Crab legs (currently $29, subject to change). Whether you decide to crab or not to crab, I am sure you will have a feast fit for a king! If you need any more details about the ins and outs of the Disney Dining Plan, my planDisney pal
Jenn is an expert--she's my go-to anytime I have a question!
Thanks again for making a return trip to planDisney, Matthew! I hope you and your wife have the most magical vacation in September. If our planDisney squad can assist with any other questions you may have, please reach out anytime!
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
