My wife and I will be coming down next year from October 28th to November 11th for our 30th anniversary & I was wondering if they may have some new tours or if you might suggest something special to help us celebrate.... Staying at the castle?

    Hiya Paula,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question—what a joy it is to help you plan such a special celebration! And first, let me send a big, warm congratulations on 30 years of love, laughter, and your very own happily ever after. That is an incredible milestone—and there’s truly no better place to celebrate than the Most Magical Place on Earth! You're visiting during one of my favorite times of year, when you'll get to see the parks transform from pumpkins to twinkling lights.

Now, while I am not aware of any new tour announcements, I do have a few unforgettable ways to mark such a momentous occasion:

First, if you're looking for an extraordinary, splurge-worthy dining experience, I highly recommend Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian. It really is second to none. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there, and every course was a work of art—so thoughtfully crafted and delicious. You can elevate your evening even more with a wine pairing or a zero-proof cocktail experience that complements each course. And don’t miss the coffee service at the end—it was so charming, we went home and bought the siphon they used!

Second, for something truly magical, consider booking a private fireworks cruise. You can enjoy views of either the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT nighttime spectaculars. These cruises include soft drinks, snacks, and you’re welcome to bring along champagne (don’t forget your drinkware). We recently did this with our family, and it was pure Disney magic—relaxing, intimate, and unforgettable. You can even request special decorations for your anniversary! Please be sure to book it at least 60 days in advance, as spaces fill up quickly.

One of my favorite ways to start a celebration is with a surprise waiting back in the room! You can have balloons, flowers, or even fun-themed gifts delivered right to your resort. It’s such a sweet way to kick off your anniversary and instantly set the mood for a magical trip.

And while spending the night inside Cinderella Castle is still at the top of my Disney wish list (if I ever crack that code, you’ll be the first to know!), booking a Club Level room at places like BoardWalk Inn or Grand Floridian adds such a special touch. From the personalized service to the cozy lounges stocked with yummy snacks and drinks, it really makes you feel like royalty.

Oh! And don’t forget to grab your Happily Ever After buttons from the front desk or Guest Relations when you arrive. It’s such a small thing, but those buttons have a way of unlocking extra smiles, “Happy Anniversary!” shoutouts, and maybe even a sprinkle of pixie dust along the way.

Lastly, I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on events, tours, and surprises that may arise during your trip.

Paula, I hope your 30th anniversary is filled with magical moments, unforgettable memories, and all the pixie dust your hearts can hold. If you have any more questions, you know where to find us!

    See ya real soon!
