Hi, Steve!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for visiting us with your great question. I hope you and your wife are looking forward to your very magical fifth anniversary vacation!
I am a big fan of Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue in Frontierland at Disneyland Park. It’s a family-style, all-you-care-to-eat feast in a rustic outdoor ranch setting featuring live country music and fun entertainment. Seating is entirely outdoors, so keep in mind that if there is heavy rain or a thunderstorm, it is possible that the restaurant may close temporarily.
The lunchtime menu includes barbecue chicken and ribs, coleslaw, ranch beans and cornbread, and at dinner you’ll dine on all of the items served at lunch in addition to smoked sausages and corn on the cob. If you have room for dessert, indulge in the S’mores Bake, a warm chocolate brownie topped with roasted marshmallows, graham crackers and hot fudge! It takes about 20 minutes to prepare this treat, so order it a bit early. It’s worth the wait!
Reservations can be made online or by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE (3463). I hope this helps, Steve. Please let me know if you have any more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted anniversary trip!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
