    My wife and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on the Wonder in Alaska 9/26. What sort of surprises/special events can I arrange for her. Thank you for your help.

    Congratulations on your milestone anniversary next year. What a special way to celebrate. We have sailed on the Disney Wonder to Alaska twice so far. On our first Alaskan cruise, my wife celebrated her birthday. On our second Alaskan cruise, we celebrated our wedding anniversary together. So this question strongly resonates with me!

    I asked my wife what surprises and events meant the most to her as we commemorated our special occasions together. Here are her top five recommendations:

    1. Palo. A special brunch or dinner at the adult-exclusive Palo restaurant is the perfect way to make special, romantic memories.
    2. Rainforest Room. A pair of day passes or a length of cruise passes to the Rainforest Room offers unique opportunities to relax and spend quiet time together.
    3. Onboard Gifts. My wife loved the surprise gifts I ordered ahead of time to be delivered to our stateroom. From room decor to sweet treats to romantic packages, there's something for every celebration.
    4. Port Adventures. My wife looked forward to special shore excursions. Her favorites were whale watching and other wildlife watching excursions.
    5. Snacks and Movies. Yup! My wife's favorite memories from our Disney cruise vacations center around relaxing on the pool deck while enjoying complimentary ice cream and pizza snacks and watching classic Disney movies on the Funnel Vision.

    Be sure to annotate your cruise reservation with a note about your anniversary celebration. That will also let your dining service team know to help make your experience aboard the Wonder even more special!
