Hello Scott, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you sent another great question our way.
Congratulations on finding happily ever after with your lovely bride! She is one lucky lady to have Prince Charming planning a romantic evening in the Most Magical Place on Earth. My husband and I have celebrated several anniversaries in Walt Disney World, and I'd love to share some of our favorite places to dine.
For a signature meal with a view, the
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort is my number one location to enjoy a special occasion. From sushi to steak to wine, there is something delicious here for every palate. While this restaurant is usually bustling,
current physical distancing measures limit the number of patrons dining at one time, creating a more intimate atmosphere. Although fireworks are not part of our world at this time, you may catch a glimpse of the
Electrical Water Pageant lighting up Seven Seas Lagoon in the distance as you dine.
Another fantastic dining experience that offers sweeping, panoramic vistas is
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. Another signature meal with a rooftop setting, the food here is exquisite, and the views are breathtaking. After dinner enjoy a moonlit stroll around the grounds of this refined, European-inspired resort.
Disney's Riviera Resort is a destination in its own right, and I am anxious to plan an adults-only getaway here for my husband and me; in my opinion, Disney's newest resort is also its most romantic.
If you and your beloved are fans of seafood, then
Narcoosee's at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is an excellent choice for fine dining and understated elegance in a tranquil, waterside setting. Most tables here offer quiet views of the
Magic Kingdom Park, so when you're not admiring the face of your princess, take in the majesty of Cinderella Castle. You decide which is more lovely!
One final option, for especially adventurous eaters, is
Tiffins Restaurant at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Reserve a table here just before park closing and you will be able to slowly meander through a nearly empty theme park once you have concluded your meal. This park is gorgeous after dark, and the serenity you will encounter after most Guests have departed for the day, backlit by the Tree of Life, is a romantic way to end the evening.
Scott, I hope one of these options is appealing for your evening out. I suggest taking a look at some menus and
making an Advanced Dining Reservation for the latest seating possible when you are likely to have the quietest experience. Happy anniversary to you, and if there is anything else we can do to make your vacation more memorable, please come see us again.
