My wife and I have also enjoyed celebrating special milestones like that on a Disney cruise as well as many times visiting Disney theme parks and resorts.The latest Disney Cruise Line itineraries were announced on August 25, 2026, and include sailings as far into the future as May 2028. There isn't a set schedule for when itinerary announcements are made. But based on recent announcement history, I'd guess that itineraries for Summer 2028 may be announced in the first few months of next year, and Fall 2028 itineraries may be revealed in late summer of next year. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or following Disney Parks on your preferred social media platform to be informed as early as possible when those new itineraries can be booked.I also endorse the plan to enjoy a longer itinerary for your anniversary celebration. My wife and I recently celebrated a major milestone anniversary on the Disney Wonder sailing on a 9-night Alaskan cruise. We knew we wanted that longer itinerary so we could experience some Alaskan ports that aren't frequently part of those sailings, such as Sitka. Although that sailing didn't overlap with our exact anniversary date, we both gladly counted the magical experience as our anniversary celebration that year. You may find similar interest in other longer, although less frequent itineraries such as transatlantic cruises, Panama Canal cruises, a few longer Mediterranean cruises, and a handful of longer itineraries visiting the Caribbean. There may even be some rare surprises included in upcoming itinerary announcements that will catch your interest. The latest batch of itineraries included limited-time cruises from New York that really got my family's attention. We are grateful that we didn't wait to book, as the itinerary that we really wanted has already sold out less than a month after reservations opened up!Whichever cruise you and your wife pick I'm sure will be most magical for you both.
