My wife and I would like to bring our 6 year old grandson the week of March 10, 2013 but we do not know if that would be considered spring break when the crowds are larger. Any help would be appreciated?

    Hey there Craig,

So happy you stopped by for advice on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  I am so happy to help! In the month of March, crowds do begin to increase, as many schools, especially those in Canada observe Spring Break near the middle of the month with schools in the US breaking later in the month and on into April.

While it is virtually impossible to accurately predict crowds and attendance, I will say that I have visited in early March and even as late as the week of the 17th and have found the crowds to be very manageable. There's a very good chance that you could enjoy some really low crowd levels, since most of the Spring Breakers arrive near the middle of the month, which can be very delightful!

There are also several Spring events taking place including the annual Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot which is a must see.  Another bonus will be the temperatures which will be extremely comfortable compared to those scorchers felt in mid Summer!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
