Can my wife bring her walking pole on the Wild Africa Trek? It steadies her on uneven torrain. Thanks

    Hi Robert,

You will just love going on the Wild Africa Trek.  My family loves Animal Kingdom, and my youngest is able to finally go on this so we will be making a reservation soon.  I talked with several Cast Members about your wife using a walking pole for assistance.  I finally talked with someone who actually runs the tours to give you the correct answer.  Walking poles are allowed but they will need to be tethered to the harness that you will be wearing.  If your pole has a loop to go around the wrist, then they will use a carabinier to attach it to the harness.  If there is no such strap, then they will secure it with a rope.  This is to make sure the walking pole doesn't fall or slip when walking on a bridge.  This is done quite frequently so it is no problem at all!  I know you will have a magical adventure, Robert!
