Welcome Aboard, Carl! Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. Knowing what to pack for a cruise can be tough, as some dress code requirements may land out of your wardrobe comfort zones. While attire for a Disney Cruise vacation is primarily casual, there are times onboard the ships where the dress code standards are a bit more specific. Most nights, "cruise casual" is the way to go in the main dining rooms. This means no swimwear or tank tops - nice jeans or shorts are perfectly acceptable on these evenings. Palo and Remy, the adult-exclusive restaurants, have a much more elegant, upscale atmosphere, and therefore have a stricter dress code. The dress code for Palo and Remy are as follows: Palo: Men: Dress pants and dress shirt (a jacket is optional) Women: Dress or pantsuit No jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes Remy: Men: Dress pants with jacket (sports or suit jacket) is requires - ties are optional. Women: A dress, cocktail dress, pantsuit or skirt/blouse is required No jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes I hope this is helpful in your planning and packing. Wishing you and your wife a magical voyage with Captain Mickey and his crew! -Diane W.
